Tim Ferriss is listed as one of the “Most Innovative Business People” by Fast Company and one of the “40 under 40” by Fortune. He has been known to invest in the early stages of technology, including large household brands such as Uber, Facebook, Shopify, Duolingo, Alibaba, and 50 others.   Ferriss was raised in New York City, attending Princeton University, graduating with an AB degree in East Asian studies. During his studies, he visited Japan, claiming the experience to be formative. While working at a data company, he started his own business, a nutritional supplement company, ‘BrainQuicken’. He sold the business later on.   In 2007, he released his first book, “The 4-hour Workweek”, which made it onto the New York Times Best Seller list for numerous years. After this, he started his investment career, including with ‘TaskRabbit’, ‘Evernote’ and ‘Reputation.com’. He had also started his podcast.   Other books Ferriss has worked on include The 4-Hour Body, The 4-Hour Chef, Tools of Titans, and Tribe of Mentors. All his books have made it onto the New York Times bestseller lists, and The 4-Hour Chef was winner of the 19th Annual Paris Cookbook Awards.   His podcast, The Tim Ferriss Show focuses on deconstructing world-class performers. The show is ranked #1 across all niches, and it has also been selected as the ‘Best of Apple Podcasts’ for the last three years running. He also runs a blog included in Inc.
